Heatshield's Colored Exhaust Wrap features a colored ceramic coating which helps give your vehicle a custom look. Another benefit of the ceramic coating is it can extend the life of your exhaust wrap by as much as three times. Heatshield Colored Exhaust Header Heat Wrap can withstand a real world rating of 1200 Deg F continuous and 2000 Deg F intermittent. Wrapping your header and exhaust system with Heatshield Colored Exhaust Wrap maintains hotter exhaust and header gases, decreases the density which allows the exhaust gas to exit the system faster! This increases exhaust scavenging, pulling intake and exhaust gases through the system faster, helping to lower intake temperatures, which equals more horsepower. Colored Exhaust Wrap also reduces radiant heat damage and can lower under hood temperatures by as much as 50%. Lower overall under hood temperatures can further reduce your intake temperatures. This exhaust wrap can be fastened with either Heatshield Thermal- Ties™ or hose clamps.
This exhaust wrap is asbestos free and is made from a base high quality fiberglass yarn. HP Color Exhaust Wrap is noncombustible as well as water and fungus resistant. Always wear safety glasses and a dust mask when working with Heatshield Exhaust Wrap. We also recommend gloves and long sleeves when handling this exhaust header wrap.
