Vibrant's second generation of Air-to-Air Intercoolers now feature premium quality Bar and Plate Construction, which provides superior cooling efficiency and overall strength and durability than their original tube and fin cores, making Vibrant's new Bar and Plate cores suitable for even the most extreme racing applications. Vibrant Air-to-Air Intercoolers improve power output on forced induction cars by delivering superior cooling efficiency while minimizing pressure drop. A turbo produces hot, pressurized air that is directed into the intercooler. At the same time, cool ambient air enters from the front of the core and allows the intercooler's external radiating fins to draw out the heat from the pressurized air. This dissipation of heat decreases the chance of detonation and allows for a cooler, denser intake charge entering the engine, thereby maximizing the engine's power output potential. You can choose from a pressure tested Complete Assembly with cast aluminum end tanks already TIG welded to the core. Or choose the Core Only option and weld end tanks to the core yourself for maximum installation flexibility.
