Exhaust wraps help to retain heat in your exhaust system, which increases horsepower while reducing radiant heat damage. By wrapping the exhaust system it maintains hotter exhaust gases, decreases density, and allows the exhaust gas to exit the system faster! Greater exhaust scavenging is produced which lowers intake temperatures: that equals more horsepower.

Heatshield's premium exhaust wrap will withstand 1200°F continuous and 2000°F intermittent. So what's the difference you ask? Well the Standard grade wrap, has a courser, thicker weave than the Premium wrap. The Premium uses a special heat coating that allows Heatshield to use a tighter knit weaving which offers less fraying and more heat retention.
