Some plumbing jobs require you to install Fragola's 3000 Series Stainless Steel Race Hose over an existing hose barb instead of using an AN adapter. Designed to slip over the end of the braided hose, these feature a self-contained hose clamp to secure the hose to the barb. E-Z Clamp Hose Ends are sized to the outside diameter of the stainless braided hose.

Fragola Aluminum AN Adapters and Fittings may look like simple devices, but Fragola takes them very seriously. They have spent several years researching, testing, and retesting to perfect what they feel are the finest adapters and fittings available.

Many people over tighten the aluminum fitting on the adapter, which distorts the 37 degree seat, and may cause a leak. Both the threads and the seat surface face should have a drop or two of oil to smooth the tightening process. Please reference the chart on the specifications tab for maximum torque specifications. Another method of tightening is to bring the nut to "hand tight" and then rotate it another 1/4 turn with the proper wrench.
