Step 1:

Cutting is easy. Simply mark the hose at the desired length with a marker. The easiest way to cut this hose is with . Simply line the blade up with your cut mark and squeeze.

Step 2:

Soften the end of the hose slightly in boiling water. Then add a few drops of assembly lube to the barbs of the hose end.

Step 3:

If you are going to use for the added security in higher pressure applications now is the time to place them on the hose.

Step 4:

In one motion, push the hose over the barb. The fit is tight on purpose as this is the only method of hose retention.

Step 5:

If applicable, slide the Push Lok Clamp over the barb and pinch it down using either a pair of pliers, or which can be utilized for easy crimping and clamp removal.

Step 6:

Clean the inside of the hose assembly with clean solvent. Blow out residue with compressed air. It is strongly recommended that you test the hose assembly for leakage before putting it into service. The easiest way to go about this is by utilizing and submerging the hose assembly in a bucket of water. If you don't see air bubbles when the line is pressurize then it is okay to put in service. Just be sure to lubricate the "B-nut threads" before installing on an adapter.
