Heatshield Products I-M Shield™ Intake Manifold Shields are available for the Coyote and LS-Series Engines. The I-M Shield™ has been shown to increase performance by up 12 RWHP. This intake heat shield works by shielding the intake manifold from heat radiating off of the motor. The lower intake temperatures decrease the air density, allowing for more fuel and air to be used for each stroke, creating more power.

Each shield is coated with a heavy duty adhesive that will stick to any clean, semi-smooth, surface. Simply degrease the surface and make sure it is clean. Give the surface one last wipe down with either pre-paint cleaner or isopropyl alcohol, allowing sufficient time to dry. Now you can firmly press the I-M Shield™ onto the underside of the intake manifold. Use the included edging tape to finish of the installation by covering the exposed edges. While the I-M Shield™ comes pre-sized for your application you can make on the fly modifications by trimming it with heavy duty scissors or a utility knife.
