SheetHot™ FLEX ADHESIVE is an ideal heatshield for components where using mechanical fasteners is not feasible. Flex Adhesive heat protection gives you a flexible and easy to install thermal protection solution. Each sheet includes an adhesive backing so you can simply stick the FLEX ADHESIVE in the desired location. SheetHot™ FLEX ADHESIVE is composed of single layer of heavy duty aluminized fiberglass which is rated for direct heat up to 490° Fahrenheit (255° Celsius).

Installation - If you need to cut a shield into a custom shape for your application it is simple

1. Utilize a cardboard template to determine the shape, size and form of your desired heat shield.
2. Trace the cardboard template onto the shield
3. Cut out with sharp scissors or a pair of tin snips
4. Clean any grease or dirt from installation location
5. Allow surface to adequately dry
6. Stick directly to the surface

Note: Always wear gloves and safety glasses when handling this material. Cover all skin that may come in contact with it as well.
