Verocious Motorsports V-Band Repair Kits - Replacement Nuts

Need to replace a V-Band clamp nut? Choose from our mockup, nylon locking, and all metal locking (standard or premium) replacement v-band nuts to get you back up and running! Use the mockup nuts during test fitment and fabrication for constant on/off removal. For final installation on cold air intake/intercooler applications you can use our nylon locking nuts which feature a polymer insert that locks the nut in place, which helps prevent galling by avoiding metal on metal contact. In exhaust and high temperature applications you can use either our standard or premium version metal locking nuts. The standard version is your typical coated alloy steel nut, and our premium option is a silver plated 347 stainless nuts that are excellent for high temperature and highly corrosive environments. This upgraded V-Band nut also features a long beam design and silver plating also help prevent galling. The silver plating is softer than the bolt/nut material, so it acts as a lubricant in a sense when installing. The silver plating also helps deter oxidization under high temperature, preventing excessive corrosion of the nut onto the bolt. All of our v-band clamps, flanges, and components are manufactured in a ISO 9001 certified facility.

Note: The first thing you should do before installing any nuts (even the mock-up one) on your v-band bolts is apply a coating of anti-seize which will alleviate any problems with galling. The use of anti-seize will significantly extend your bolt/nuts life-cycle.

All Verocious V-Band clamps up to 2.75" utilize 1/4"-28 hardware. 3" and larger Verocious clamps take the 5/16-24 hardware. All size of Vibrant clamps utilize 1/4"-28 hardware.

• 1/4"-28 hardware - 90 in-lbs (1.5" - 2.75" clamps)
• 5/16"-24 hardware - 160 in-lbs (3" - 5" clamps)
