So, what sets Green Filter air filters apart from the competition?
Deep pleats in the double-layered cotton create a 10 to 15 percent increase in filtration surface area, allowing a greater volume of air to move more freely into the cylinders while maintaining superior filtration. The specially designed cotton filter traps particles as small as 5 microns.
Steel wire mesh encases the cotton filter, providing strength and dent resistance for optimum performance under the toughest conditions.
Green Filter oil creates a positive magnetic charge with the filter's steel mesh, which attracts negatively charged dust particles entering the filter. This causes them to cling to the mesh, allowing the cotton to remain clear for maximum air flow.
Low Pressure Molding
Other filters use a simple pressure-molded injection process to bond the perimeter rubber to the interior components. That method saves manufacturing time, however a considerable amount of rubber can seep onto the filtering surface. Such spillover can restrict as much as 25 percent of intended air flow. Green Filter uses a four-step production process which virtually eliminates rubber seepage and maintains maximum air flow through the filter.
Green Filter's hand-molded flexible rubber base offers an airtight seal and absorbs vibration. The molds are created from an extensive on-site library of factory air boxes, with each part custom made on CNC machines. They don't reuse elements between filters or make universal molds, so you can be sure that your Green Filter will fit perfectly.
