TiAL Wastegate Springs - MV-S & MV-R

These TiAL® Wastegate Springs are for use in TiAL® MV-S and MV-R wastegates. All TiAL® wastegate springs are constructed from 17-7 PH Stainless Steel which is capable of maintaining consistent pressures up to 900 Deg F (483 Deg C). Please see the information below to decide which spring(s) you need for your application. The boost pressures are approximations from TiAL® based on equal intake and exhaust manifold pressures, results will vary slightly for different applications. Higher pressure settings will require the use of multiple springs working together. In these multiple spring setups the resultant pressure is equal to the sum of the individual springs.

TiAL® has recently changed their MV-S and MV-R spring colors to make them easier to identify. Spring characteristics and dimensions have not changed, just the paint color. Mixing old and new colored springs in your wastegate will still allow you to achieve the designated pressure ratings. Please reference the chart below if you need to match up old springs to their replacements.

Please Note:
The blue (old color: maroon) and white (old color: copper) are designed to work in multi-spring applications to obtain the pressure ratings listed for the MV-S wastegate, they are not designed to be used individually with the MV-S. However, the blue (old color: maroon) spring may be used individually with the MV-R wastegate. The plain spring is to only be used with the MV-R wastegate.

TiAL® F38, F40, F41, V44, F46, and V60 wastegates require the use of springs specific to those wastegates which can be found .
