Ideal Tridon 65E Lined Worm Gear Clamps
Ideal Tridon 65E Lined Worm Gear Clamps afford maximum protection to silicone and other soft hoses while providing a true concentric seal. The liner protects the hose surface and prevents it from extruding or shearing through the band notches as the clamp is tightened. There are no laminated coverings to disintegrate under heat, ultraviolet, chemical or corrosive attacks.
These liner clamps have a 9/16" wide bands to spread sealing pressure over the widest possible area. They are 100% stainless steel - important because silicone hose can last up to 10 years or more, and clamps that are not stainless can rust out in less than 2 years. Manufacturer recommended torque is 35 in-lbs (4 Nm).
